The Three-Body Problem

We wanted to offer an alternative set of covers for the Three-Body Problem trilogy and I thought it would be interesting to start from the mathematical model and see what visual directions that might suggest. I looked at a lot of models of the three-body problem to find one that would work well and then took freeze frames as it developed, so that the three books show the bodies as they move through this particular model of the problem. A couple of mathematicians were kind enough to sense-check the covers made sense before committing them to print!

Covers were printed in black and white with a single accent colour and silver foil.
